What colour shall i paint my genuine staggered set of alpinas? its for a green estate and I was suggested painting each one a different colour, pink, yellow, red and blue with center caps in opposing multicoloured randomness
Or dark grey or black to hide the fact i rarely clean my cars
Rattle cans come out this week

why stop at the wheels, paint each panel of the car a different colour, like VW did back in the 90's with the Polo

don't molest them, silver. You kill their value by painting any other colour

TBH, they are wheels. Wheels can easily be re-spayed to whatever colour you want, and a single colour (such as standard) is all the easier.
Alpina wheels can still be bought brand new. There are rarer alloys.
Uni is killing the project.

I'm guessing you have the money to blow nearly £400 per wheel then buy the £100 each centre caps on top then?
suddenly a refurbed set in silver for £6/700 seems appealing!

Good job I wasn't there. It'd just have been a belly and a pair of ears near the rear wheel

If you have a genuine staggered set and a green touring then the normal silver colour of the wheel looks the best.
If you had a white car again silver is best. Infact regardless the colour of your car the orginal rim colour looks best.

I would have thought that rainbow - painting Alpina wheels would liven up any area, let alone a housing estate

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

gaszman painted the x-spokes on his touring/estate/shooting brake/station wagon

) body colour red. they looked quite smart imo, but colouring genuine Alpinas....hmmm.....no!

The ones on mine are slightly different colour to orginal one but it works better with the Polaris silver.
I have to admit I think White with "ALPINA" painted in red looks stunning on black or red cars.

gun metal grey all over then using a black & decker mouse, rough sand the spoke faces and dish back to metal then laquer to finsh
despite bolloxing the wheels it would look pretty good
