Sorry if this is a repost or whatever but this is making a bit of dollar.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1991-BMW-E30-325I ... 1|294%3A50

:o

Surely cab's like this aren't worth that amount? If they are, I might fit mine with a quad exhaust and get it on the bay!

Edit : Sorry, repost - just seen that Imy spotted it..

5K if it had the M3 Evo engine it mentions in the title maybe...

And also would need to lose the ugly angel eyes, steering wheel, BMW on the headrests etc

Dunno how many times I've seen this thread, but yes, E30 cab prices are getting stronger!

True but not councilled scrap.

Not saying this particular car is councilled scrap but a good, reasonably miled, fully historied, mint convertible is an appreciating asset.

Just because a guy has spent fortunes on tat from halfords and ebay, don't make the car worth a fortune

The bidding does not look at all suspicious to me.

I think this is an example which shows up the E30 big time,.....

No wonder some people make jokes about the E30 being 'an old crappy beemer' when examples like this are around...

Makes me sick

Doesn't look that bad tbh - certainly not the worst around! But as for the price, "private listing - bidders' identities protected" says it all.

Ive seen this car close up not too long ago, its in good nik, no obvious rot at all, all the arches/sills etc are in tact, the smoothing has been done to a good standard but if you are a perfectionist you wont find it hard to notice its had a re-spray
The bidding list doesnt do the sale any favours at all, I wouldnt part with that sort of money as its not to my taste at all TBH

Not in a million consecutive years of Airdrie winning the Scottish Premier League did that car sell for over £5000 in an arm's length transaction between two individuals, neither of whom were certifiable.

Only after guy who came second has been offered the chance to buy the turd "due to the seller being messed around", probably without the option of Paypal.
