Spax do a set too, again not cheap. Why not buy a decent suspension set up for the same price as a cheap coilover kit? :)

Didn't Hottuning to cheap coilovers? May be mistaken!

Some good bilstein B8's or something with a 40/40 drop would be fine I reckon. Not sure about springs. Need some conformation on that though, but I'm sure they'd do ok.

There are lots of cheaper shocks which are fairly rock solid and could prove good on a track.

The H&R cup kit is pretty good, bilstein B6/B8 shocks combined with eibach springs is also highly recommended by people.

Don't know if mine was a one off, but I found the Cup kit awfully bouncy and soft...
Got B8s and Eibachs then and never looked back.

One of the lads here got Coilovers for around the £600 mark last week which look pretty good, will be interesting to see how they preform when they are on.

If It was me, I'd like to try save up for GAZ though...

I had a 60/40 cup kit and it was rigid. Was yours a 35mm?

Nope, 60/40 too...

The B8s and eibachs are a far better ride anyway... took them both on the exact same road after fitting them and the B8s made the car handle much better

I got a set of H&R coilovers for £700 and they have completely transformed my sport.

I can't remember exactly where I got them from, but you have to send your front shocks to them. They're then sent to H&R who make them into coilovers and then the full set (including brand new rears) are sent to you. Highly recommended.

This is where I got them from: europerformance.co.uk
