In fear of sounding a bit gay, I think they are one of the coolest inventions on newer cars. I love a cup of coffee if driving somewhere early doors, or even a coke on a day like today. The possibilities are endless....:snigger:

Seriously though, don't think I've ever seen one on an E30 and was curious if anyone has fitted one? Can it be done?

Sometimes you can slide one in the center console bit.

I want one that pops out the dash as and when. I suppose it'd be a major ball ache to do that though.

I find gear changes a bit awkward when I've got a hot cuppa in my hand!

large mcdonalds drink fits neatly between the handbrake and the centre console thingy, just need to remeber to hold it if you would like to rapidly slow down.

Have a look at this.

I have mounted two of these in black (they fold flat to about 2 cms) on the doorcards just above the pocket. They look like they were meant to be there.
