This one was worth the effort though, not ott.
Why?? because we chose to keep our cars clean rather than spin circles in a car park like some people do?

That detail is immense!! Gonna try the paintbrush trick next (first!!) time I do a full detail!! That has got to cost a fair bit if that guy spent almost a week doing it (+ costly products no doubt) but I guess with proper products and done correctly it should last a while 8)

Oh ok, I kind of have an idea of how much it would cost.

Something for me to think about in the long run. My cabs not in showroom condition, not yet anyway :P

Hubble will know... try a PM.
Infact, judging by the state of his sport you'd do well just to hire him to do it. You couldn't just eat of his bonnet, you could perform surgery on it.

Perhaps above 500 onwards

I personally wouldnt mind paying 300, however it does vary on the state of the car. Judging by the condition of yours, detailing your car is going to cost less then it would be to detail mine as yours is in a better condition to start with.

The link says it all. Ive used Tony Spears to detail my Boxster and he did a great job. Ill be getting him to do my M3 too as soon as it comes out of the garage. I dont think it will take him a week though. Some of these detailers (do a brilliant job) make the work last a bit longer. Tony did my Boxster in a day and it was a solid 9 hours on the car.....he didnt even have time to talk to me when I phoned to get an update.

Professional detailing is an art in itself and the Pro's can tell you it's bloody hard work and time consuming which is why it's quite expensive.

My sport has taken me years of loving care to get it where it is. I don't do this as a business, although I should! I do it as a pass time.

The key thing to remember to anyone doing this as a hobby is take your time, there's no rush.

So true, you can spend over 2 days on a car no prob, even more depending on it's size and paint type. Very time consuming, but very satisfying in the end!!
