Does anyone know of a company that sell's the above for the E30?

Roughly how much does the suspension set-up cost? Would it be easier/cheaper to fit a coilover suspension system instead?

TIA
Imy

depends what you want.

if you want to dump it on the ground, b ut be able to raise it to drive normally then airbags or hydraulics. if you want it to have any form of handling, and can find a rideheight that works for you, get coilovers.

i would have thoiught coilovers would be both considerably cheaper and easier to buy and fit, and wouldnt mean losing boot space for recievers, pumps etc, but height adjustment will take 15mins a corner rather than a few seconds.

the only things hydraulics / airbags suit are big old custom cars and lowriders
cheers,

harry

i think i remeber reading a few years ago that it costs about £3k to buy and fit hydraulics/airbags. There is a car in the for sale section with it if you rather have that!

Rayvern Hydraulics are the people you need to speak to.

I don't know if this will help you or not since it's located out of the USA. But here's an air bagged e30, http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f3/lowrid ... is-372685/

And another thread about it on R3V with the owner of the above car telling us about it in this thread, http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=108984

Coilovers every time, air bag systems ride total rubbish and makes car handle all horrible and unpredictable only benefit is for show use only.

All depends what you want it for!!! From what i've heard, airbag systems are a lot better than they used to be, but hydraulics are still better.

Coilovers should give much better hadling, but obviously no where near as easy to adjust the ride height!!

I would think bags would be perfectly acceptable on the roads for most average drivers!!
