Anyone ever replaced the bulbs in an OBC to LED's? I've got the LED's and the OBC but when I look at the light strip, I can't tell which is Pos + and which is Neg -. And with an LED i'm sure you need to get them the right way round.

Yes, they have to be the right way round and you would need a resistor in series with the LED. what is the voltage to the light strip?

Says 10v on the strip.

I've bought these

Ok, they have the resistor built in so dont need one. The higher the voltage, the brighter the light so 10v will give a decent amount of light. Try putting the red wire to the top and the black to the bottom and give it a go. All that can happen if they are the wrong way round it it wont light up.

Cheers

Problem is the obc kit is on the bench. We know the bulbs have blown but I've got no way of testing them in the obc

In the link smithy posted, it says you need to buy a resistor, but as jon-d - h says the resistor
is already there. Am i right in thinking the link is slightly wrong in that respect, or am i missing something.
