Seem to be getting a lot of condensation in the boot. the car has been stood for a couple of months, but its made carpet go mouldy. Any suggestions to stop this? ive tried one of those small moisture absorbing boxes.

Check the rubber seals, that's my best guess, where the vapour comes in from and then condenses.
Maybe a leak as pointed out as before, never know. Get more info and someone more knowledgeable on these things will come along.
My guess is, either a leak, or check the rubbers.
Hope it helps mate!!!!

this happens on mine, if its facing downhill watter fills the channel and the boot gets condensation in it. if i park it facing uphill it doesnt happen!mrLEE30 wrote:is the car parked by chance facing down a slight incline? if so it could be water running into the channel around the boot lid, then over flowing into the boot.

Mine used to do this and found it to be the rear light surrounding gaskets, now better after they were replaced
