I quite like it, it'll need time to settle down and fill up a little but it'll make looking for parts far far easier. Top work to all of you!
Not in E30s any more

while i registered my vote for the old forum based classifieds, i would say that, as admin on another forum, i appreciate the work that has gone into the new zone which has become very professional and refined (just like a bmw lol) and im sure that once we all stop lamenting the "old ways" and get to grips with the new section it will be much better.
its like when you get a new phone..its never as good as the last one till you suss it out
well done Zone team.

I voted old style too, was so much easier to reply on threads rather than write individual emails (especially as out inbox's are so small, or are they bigger now?) So then buyers could see what had been asked before, or what had already sold on a breaker.
But overall Great work guys! Loads so much quicker now too.

Power to the people

It's not a matter of being power to the people, it's a matter of getting it work so everyone can use the Zone and be happy
tbh I'm not happy with it myself and you never know how it will work until members start using it

The new classifieds were far too complicated and hard to use. Having them almost hidden away was no good either.
Glad the old style is back as there was nothing wrong with it!
The people using it wrongly were the problem.

There's been a hell of a lot of work put into the new style ads, it's not 100% yet so it's being rolled back for a bit whilst more work goes into it.
I agree that it is a matter of getting it to work, I didn't mean it to sound like a victory cry. I realise that this has been much hard work for you guys and it is very close to your hearts, and we can be defensive about the things we love
I'm sure that the majority of people just want the best for the site as do I, but apart from the occasional spamming, the clasifieds ran themselves quite well I thought. This is a forum which in part relys on the clasified sections, the thing that we are all interested in is the e30, its our common ground, a large part of classic car ownership is spending money on it, we enjoy it. On a number of occasions I have scanned the for sale section and bought something that I never knew I needed
Its not a personal attack, but 80% of people expressed their negative views towards the new clasifieds.
This is a TRULY GREAT sight, great people, great atmosphere, and great cars. I would like it to stay that way, and I think that means keeping the people who frequent it reasonably happy. Thanks for changing it.
Now about the colours.....................
