lol!
well i`v just got out of bed after a long night shift thinking about steering wheels but still dont know which one to get. I`v read all your views and it seems that these are the only real wheels to go for, but this would be the order i like them in i do like that 3 spoke alpina tho
1.. BBS
2.. TECH2
3.. TECH1
4.. ALPINA 3/4 SPOKE
or what about those.....is it nardi wheels do they do any nice wheels, what about just any random/no make wheel.

I like quite a few of the wheels. I've seen the BBS one before on ebay. Didn't go for it becuase it was wooden.
I would love a 370mm suede tech2, thats what i would choose.
Tech 2 ares good, Tech 1s to me are not so good. Maybe if i got the chance to see one and feel it in a car i may be swayed over.
Personally though, i'd love a new 3 spoke alpina wheel like Barry's. Only thing is i dont have and alpina, therefore would not like the alpina badge and feel that debadging a genuine (and expensive) E30 alpina part to put a normal BMW badge on is blastfamy. To me, same as buying a brand new set of genuine alpina wheels, taking the badges of the center and putting ebay tat carbon badges on them. Just wrong. But for the look and feel i'm really considering the alpina now... as i do want the spoiler.
As for the AC S wheel. Not too bad, was thinking of buying it of someone in the for sale section. I think i offered him a 5er, a few shineys, 2 mars bars, a curly wurly and a stick of lemon shurbert or something
. I just wasn't prepared to pay for the cost of the wheel at the time. Not the best wheel though.
Which wheels are available in 360mm. Personally i think the smaller the better. I have a tech 2 380mm and definately want a smaller one.

With the Alpina wheel all you need is the Alpina gear knob which is about £40 and the interior is set.NayC wrote:I like quite a few of the wheels. I've seen the BBS one before on ebay. Didn't go for it becuase it was wooden.

Currrently this wheel (seat has been swapped out for a Sparco Evo)

However once my boss kit arrives, it's being swapped for this

They are indeed. If ever I could get hold of one it'd be on the car in a flash. I love the M-Tech II wheels (not overly popular from what I've read in this thread) but I would gladly lose mine for a Nardi wheel.NayC wrote:
They are nice.

This is the Momo Race I had in the old 325, was a nice wheel but obscured the top parts of the instruments

No one has mentioned the squarer but way cooler RD steering wheel, though probably because I only know of 4 in the UK which is probably all of them. Of which I have one!

Well Oze30 is one, he even sold me his matching gear knob, if you really racj your brains you could work out the other person! Who has more rare stuff than unicorn herder?
So now I have the RD body kit, knob, steering wheel, rocker cover and 6 branch. Only one of them actually makes the car faster though, the gear knob is worth 50bhp don't you know!

It's a Hartge 2.7 that's on eBay.
It's in the forum already. I just like the steering wheel.
Could you please give the ebay link to the Hartge wheel?
