I know that some members on here might dislike me because of some of the things that I say, and as far as I'm concerned that is completely fine because I have always and will always write my honest opinion, I'm not going to sugar coat or hold my tongue on a subject just so that I don't don't rock the boat. As far as I'm concerned forums like this are about two things, sharing knowledge and sharing opinions, conflicting or not. If we all comented on this thread with the same "Aww, such a shame" mentality then this would have been a rather dull read. Variety is the spice of life, and all that.
Like it or loathe it, I will always speak my mind.

97.9% of the members on E30 Zone are so far up their car's arses it's a shame. They talk complete and utter shite when it comes to actually using a E30 for some real Driving enjoyment. They'd much rather polish their M-tech Knobs and wonder to themselves when will the E30 be regarded as a "true classic" and more importantly, when will they get over their stupid inferiority complex towards the VAG boys' scene - This is the only scene I've ever, EVER come across in my life that have real Driver's cars, but would rather sit in a ******* field sucking each other's cocks by seeing who's knob is a shinest. Patheic. I don't see Ford boys doing that, or wishing they were drolling over someone's stupidly priced Borbet alloys wheels in a field somewhere in wales....
Mention drifting and you're a teenage Chavvy pikey scum bag, but Fit something from the grossly over priced M-Tech and you're Allah, the Budda and Jesus Christ all rolled into one...
Who's going to do the honours and remind them that they're mostly driving 20 year old heaps, 318is are the most hyped up thing since bird flu (Baby M3? My ******* arse) and people drift your oh so special E30s because they are worth less thsn my shirt...
My ultimate goal in life is now to buy a mint 325I Sport, spary it flat black, weld the Diff and then Spam post a video of me ragging the living **** out of it, JUST to pee pee them off. In fact, don't get me started on 325i Sports... Since when did Lowering springs and a barry bodykit make a standard powered 325i worth £5000? You could build a standard E30 to a standard to kick the shit out of the sport in everyway and still have enough cash to get a E38 740IL Daily and STILL HAVE CHANGE.
I'm SOOOOOOOOO ******* glad I don't own a E30 anymore. The last time I want to be connected with at those cocks in any way shape or form.
So young, yet so stupid!

Hmmm. Am I right in thinking that this forum exists in order that BMW fans in general, and E30 fans specifically, can exchange their views and share their enthusiasm for said vehicles, and engage in grown up debate when extolling the virtues of the various incarnations of these vehicles?
In which case, if you're not a fan or don't share the enthusiasm, and therefore don't wish to be associated with this particular area of automotive activity, you're welcome to leave as nobody is forcing you to be here.
So, Joshy, in other words, F*CK OFF.

How about you Get the fuck off the bandwagon and think for yourself?
Having "enthusiasm" for E30s doesn't mean shedding a tear for a rust bucket rotting away in somebody front garden somewhere in Southampton . Show me a nice M3 and I will genuinely been humbled. Show me that rot box and I quite frankly couldn't give two flying shits. It once was an amazing car, then it got nicked, pillaged for parts and eventually found itself being left neglected outside somebody's front gate for 12 years making it into the rotbox you see before you.
It's not a shame, it's fucking life - For whatever reason a machine reaches the point where it is uneconomical to repair so it is mothballed, it is stripped of any useful parts and left to rot or be crushed into Coca Cola Cans. It is just what happens, and believe me, it has happened to far greater machines than a M3 Evo Sport
Maybe I'm not a true "enthusiast" because I've got the amazing ability to see through the pretty M3 badges and know a true shittier when I see one? I don't know, just don't question my enthusiasm for cars just because I don't think the owner should be shot for not pouring a ridiculous money of money into an uneconomical restoration of what is a Shed.
Merry Fucking Christmas .

Joshy you are clearly a complete and utter plank, I am not even sure what else to say, because evidently you are too thick to listen, to stupid to understand or pig headed to take on board. Clearly you have nothing of value to add to the forum, other than a hated of anything with value which you can't fathom or afford
So, Joshy, in other words, F*CK OFF.
I was sad to see the red one... Nearly in tears to see the Black Sport Evo and then the Daytona along with all the rest
Really not the right thread to look at on Christmas day and that's before Joshy starts voicing his stupid oppinions...
It's an M3 shell ffs that doesn't seem to be a total lost cause yet. People pay a few hundred quid for solid standard E30 shells for projects such as track cars.
This car would easily be worth good money for anybody that had an engine or even wanted to do something mad...
An M3 shell is better since it has more room in the arches, better aerodynamics as well as there would be still something abit special about having a Sport Evo shell to work on.
These cars are making very strong money when in good condition and are only rising so even if it's just a shell.
If a shell is worthless, why do people go to great lenghts restoring their M3s when badly rusted if they could pick up a shell for fuckall.
People have even got in contact with BMW trying to see if there could be new shells around and would have paid well for them, these would have been just a worthless carcase too without an engine I suppose?
Now, go back to playing what Santa brought ya Joshy

Thing is a true enthusiast thinks about the car how it was, what kind of a project would that be reviving it. Seeing past the moss and what could be used to help another car. An enthusiast doesn't think of the cost to rebuild a car like this they do it for the passion of the car. Someone one day would tell you your mad for doing it but people would thank you for saving a rare/collectable car. I think they will have the last laugh whilst your still bitching on a forum driving scrap 316's about. While thier cruising around in the fruits of their labour in their hero chariot.Joshy wrote:Oh pleaseanothere21323i wrote:Hmmm. Bitter twisted little scrote that you are
Your crass views, despite what you think and 100 people have said a sport evo is right up there in the world of desirable cars. The M3 was one of the few cars that gained true classic status the day the first cars went out for road tests in 86.
Hope we all had a good crimbo

I don't think that's the problem. If I had came in and said "OMFG, The Owner should be hung, drawn and quartered for letting such a fantastically mint car like that back on the roads Q_Q" We wouldn't have had the last 6 pages. I haven't launched a single "personal attack" or attacked the Zone in anyway during this thread. I made a comment on a car. My thoughts on 97.9% of the people here don't have single thing to do with this.fuzzy wrote:your not getting it.your still missing the point. its fook all to do with your thoughts on rusty m3's but your opinion of 97.9% of the people on here.
I'm the unpopular kid. If I say anything that can remotely be perceived to be unpopular I'm going to get lynched for it, not particularly because someone disagrees 150% with what I said, but because they can be seen to get a few hits on the forum's punching bag and score some brown nose points from the popular guys. Same shit like this goes on in every school in the country and being only a Year and a half out of school myself, I remember it better than most

Hope we all had a good crimbo, i got 4 axle stands with rubber tops on them, made my day!
I have to admit that I'm not a mega die hard fan of E30s like some of you lot. While I'd be happy to spend a few grand on getting an E30, maybe even go the whole hog and get an M3 if I had a spare £15k and a need for a mega track toy, but I wouldn't have the drive and determination to get a wreck like that up to speed.
Absolute fair play to those who can, but for me that sort of enthusiasm in me is left solely to old MK3 Supras. Believe me if there were pictures of an old Group A Supra in that state floating around the internet maybe I'd shed an e-tear (then again, they only made 11 of those, makes an Evo Sport look like a long term production run
By anyway, but comments weren't "That's completely worthless", it was "To me, that's completely worthless".[/b]

Sorry boys but i have to agree,if the m3 shell has been sat there for 12 years then its gonna be rotten, still worth somethin to someone, but i wouldnt lose any sleep over it rotting away, yes the owner is a fool for leaving it like that, but he owns it so whats the harm?
I would love an m3 shell for a project, but i wouldnt touch one like that to be honest.

Would make a nice garden center piece, maybe a water fountain?
Is it that hard for you to imagine that someone actually has a career which negates the possibility of them spending countless hours on sorting a car out? My father has had an old Daimler standing around in a right state for 20 years, and is only now starting on the restoration now that he has retired.
