ive been trying to work out whats causing 1985 323i to blow only cold air...
have had the thermostat changed, engine runs at normal temperature, heater fan works on all speeds, engine is not loosing coolant...
what else can be causing this??

Not bled properly?
Knackered heater valve?(not sure this would cause your problem?)

have you by any chance had the pipes off the bulkhead for some reason if you have make sure they are on the right way round

must be heater valve,it's just stuck closed probably

does it get warmer when you hold the revs at say 2.5k?
are the hoses that go into the baulkhead hot (both of them)

i havent had anywork done on the bulkhead at all and no air doesnt get hotter with increased revs....
i'll have a check to see if both pipes get hot...
where would i find this heater valve?
