I have a set of motorsport bubble leathers...
Driver seat has a bit of damage, but the passenger and rear seats are mint...
What sort of money could i get for them? Could be selling in the near future to fund another project....(not for sale at the moment..)
???
Thanks... :D :D

Post up some photos so we can see the damage. The hardest thing with these is getting the parts to retrim a tatty drivers seat. Anyone wanting to show a motorsport and wanting the interior MINT would have everyting they need in your set to do just that. And possibly end up with one of the best original motorsport trims out there now by the sounds of it. It's worth money but without seeing it, can't say how much.
Personally I am not a fan (and never was) of Bubble Leather. I always thought it looked like a cheap alternative to full leather to be honest.

Bubble leather all day long.
The trouble is obtaining the fabric to make the repairs.
They just dont turn up.
When it does come up on fleabay its always highly priced, but doesn't sell.
There was a m3 rear bench on fleabay earlier this year, it was on there for some time. Until I pointed it out to a zoner who was upgrading his silver full leather.
You can have mine for 6.5k with a free car.

+1 leather seats just never seem to hold you in aswell.. especially when you fall asleep in them! Highbacks you just cant beat though they keep you upright all the time lol
Bollocks to this 24v scrap!

Back when these were new, My mate had his 88 "F" Royal 325 two door company motor in for a service. We were in the Coopers of Thames Ditton and there was a brand new Macau motorsport with the bubble leather in the showroom. I can remember him saying that he liked it and me arguing that Full leather was nicer. I never really "got it" if you know what I mean. Grip on the arse was good though.

If you decide to sell it I may be interested. I couldn't get any material and opted for grey leather but would love it to be original. Price dependent of course...Let me know when you've got some photos...
