Evening,

Due to circumstances way beyond my control my M30 engined motor has sat with the engine in many pieces for 3 months awating a new head gasket.

Anyway, yesterday I put it all back together, have left off the leads and no coolant as Ijust want to spin it. It turned fine by hand.

I've charged the battery and the ignition comes on. However, it's as dead as a dodo, can't even hear any clicking and doesn't get near trying to start.

What should I be looking for to remedy please?

Cheers, James

Check all the earths are clean and secure and all the power feeds to the starter are tight, make sure the battery has enough charge in it to kick the engine over too.
