My E30 smells like an old BMW, also the sport seat I got seems to smell the same. Is that the natural smell of an E30?

agreed, certain cars do have a distinctive smell - all my Mk2 Golfs have smelt the same in a perculiar way, although it is generally damp!

Old cars are like old people - they leak and they smell!

In my experience all BMWs have a faint petrol smell, I always thought there was a tank breather or something somewhere that let the faintest whiff in. Either that or by now they've all had some sort of petrol leak in their time, or currently have one!!

My daily drive smells of gliptone though :D

Mine smells a lot like leather, and something which I can't decribe, which must be "that old BMW smell"

suprisingly, mine smells new (as it is new...for me) but then again the interior is emaculate.
