Just wondering if any of you have had the same problem?

For the last 3 or 4 months this has happened and about 4 times now, at first I put it down to the dealer fit alarm playing up, Tomtomis removed this for me a few weeks ago but then today when i went to the car it was unlocked again
Now i know for a FACT i locked it last night so WTF is going on, either someone has been playing silly buggers or the central locking relay is playing up maybe?
Anyone else had this?

Sticky locking motor?

I know on some of the kits I have seen, The master solonoid sends the signal to the slaves to lock, If this one sticks it will unlock the car after a while.

Not 100% sure how the E30 set-up is though?

As a precaution you could deadlock it tonight? The only slight issue is if it spends all night trying to unlock despite not being able to because of the deadlock?

I had a similar problem when I first bought my 4 door, I would lock it and it would unlock itself straight away, cant remember exactly what it was but I fitted a new door barrel kit and replaced a few electrical joints along the way. Have you done the Red/Black wire thing yet? Just check out all the joints while you swap the relay over

Its been a long day. As its in the boot, you'd have to lock the doors and boot manually afterwards. Or use the connector in the engine bay I suppose.

check the connecter between the door and the body, most likely a loose connection or a bad connection due to corrosion. also check the cl relay for any water damage.

It will unlock if the locking ECU thinks the driver's door isn't shut.

Oz. My moneys on the drivers door accuator i.e. Dave is on the money above. Speak to Barry see if the locking works okay on that iS he's breaking. I'm sure he'll let you trail fit the drivers to rule it out.
