Is there a part # for these trims? I would absolutley love input from you guys about this because I would like to ADD new trim to my car while it undergoes it's restoration..

I checked ETK and didn't see it ? :? . I may have not looked in the right place. All I really need is the part #'s.
Trim needed is for a 1988 325i saloon / 4 door.

Be interesting to know how much for all these bits - the ones on my car are beyond help - no amount of polich or chrome cleaner does any good and the windscreen and rear screen surrounds are well past their best.

:clin: I was quoted around £130-ish per side by our local dealers, so I suspect Zimmerbimmer1 (Zone's friendly dealer) would be able to improve on that. £400 is a major amount.

Ahh. Yesss that's it!. I don't care for shadowline on my color car. If it's expensive how much is it in USD> I don't know anythign about the Uk pound(s).

*Looks like I just need parts 1, 2, and 3.

1. approx. $64
2. approx. $5
3. approx. $70

each that is. You'd need 2 per car

That's not dangerlously expensive. I spent $500 usd on new bumpers that was worse.

I think the trim is a good thing to replace..most all e30's have dullness and some dings/dents in the aluminum trim as well. I know mine has a ding in it. I also have to polish it 24/7 to keep the dull-ness from showing.
Original 80's trim looks even more dull when you have a fresh pristine paint job. 99% of the time this is what occurs. Doesn't look good next to a great paint finish.

I also get 10-20% off the OEM parts with my BMW CCA discount.
(rate depends on which dealer I go thru)
