Funnily enough the electric pump on the mini is one of the most common faults...

From what I understand electric pumps aren't that reliable in general but I'll take my chances.

Hello Ashley

The conversion isnt to hard to do at all, you only need to make up 1 pipe, the return can be made up from the old BMW pipes. The saxo pump you can use a banjo and bolt instead of the pipe effort they use. As for reliability carn't see it being to much of a problem as there are plenty of saxo running with no problems. So far I can't find any faults with the set up it feels very positive on the road and track. I have been told the merc A class pump is the one to use but they are strong money, if you want any photos or wiring info PM me.
Regards
Ray

Cheers Ray. That's some useful info. Good to hear it feels good on road and track. Currently I'm on a stock power rack with no pump and even though it's ok on track it's a real pain day to day. I would like some pics etc so yes, I'll pm you.

I was also pointed in the direction of an A class pump too but for the same reason as you I plumped for the saxo option :)
