it feels like the wheels are bouncing in first then in second they just spin like fook and it feels smooth, the car also has new rear arm bushes and new rear shocks. allthough it has got hard engine mounts if that could be anythin to do with it.
yeah forgot to say they have also been replaced along with new bilistein shocks. also changing the subject do spring wear out caust the car feels a bit boat like at the moment, i thought it could be todo with the hard engine mounts, how can i check if the front shocks are knackerd.
thanks m
thanks m
rear axle bushes are these the big ones that are a tw@t to change theres two of them cause ive done them. would trailing arm bushes be a possiblity, re the suspension its hard to tell if it settles cause its lowerd on blistien shocks and springs.
ok cheers think its time for some thicker anti roll bars then.
so what is it that acutally causes tramping then
Distortion of the rear suspension by the torque of the engine, more a problem with leaf sprung rear axles than coil sprung. As power is applied instead of the car moving forward the springs twist until suddenly snapping back to their original position, the car lurches forward and the process repeats as the car kangaroos down the road.burrows wrote:so what is it that acutally causes tramping then
