Photo Of The Month - August '08 - TIME'S NEARLY UP!
Moderator: martauto
Ok, that gives me a week to get off my arse, find my camera, read the instruction manual and come up with something that has previously been done a million times

Any shiney e30's want to be the victims of my new camera and super wide angle lens?
I'd love my car in the Wimbledon shot please - it would look awesome and would apply to the AELTC rules, ie All White!!
It is an old photo with my old BBS wheels on it. I don't have many good photos that are up to date. I will have to take some with my Nikon D80 - it should get a few good photos with it.

Sigma 10-20 by any chance? & you've got E30s - it's about the photo this month, not the car...Rosc0PColtrane wrote:Any shiney e30's want to be the victims of my new camera and super wide angle lens?

Been out for a quick snap. Light in the wrong place really, so couldn't do what I wanted.Ziggy wrote:No excuses now...
I'll process them and up load anyway.
If the weather is the same on Sat, white fluffy clouds, I'll have another pop.

Good stuff. If you could clearly label them as your entry (be a shining example to everyone else!), it's no problem to change that if you take more!

They came out shit mate. The light was terrible. Either lovely sky, shit car or lovely car, blown sky. I'll try to rescue one...Ziggy wrote:Good stuff. If you could clearly label them as your entry (be a shining example to everyone else!), it's no problem to change that if you take more!

CS3 fixed and running.
Here's my £400 turdmeister:

The light was all wrong so I've fumbled through photoshop, much akin to a teenage virgin boy trying to operate a bra clasp.

It's a bit tatty, but very much less rusty than most sports!

touring FTW
My entry - One of my turd, taken on a lovely summers evening. Not exactly a summery shot but the sunset is on the glass behind.

/\ Very pretty car, even with Jerry's stripes!

Thank you for the compliment, just can't drive it at the moment as I've broken my leg. I'm based not too far from Cambridge near the Suffolk border.Rosc0PColtrane wrote:/\ Very pretty car, even with Jerry's stripes!

Sorry to hear that you've broken your leg.
Which one? I was lucky when I was in a full leg cast for it to be my left leg. I drive an automatic, so I was still able to drive my car with a little adjustment with the seat everything was okay.
All the best for a speedy recovery :winkeye:

Hope you like them, Chris

A bit over zealous with the crop; tow bar removal! I'm shit with potato chop!suchy wrote:You clipped off a bit of the rear bumper.Rosc0PColtrane wrote:CS3 fixed and running.

No light on the car at all. It's the west face of the hill fort. Need to be there about 8am ish for proper light.
Plus I don't own a speedlight, or have the nous to artificially light it correctly, so rely on sunshine!
