Sounds like they favour the E30 then Felix, Mine wasnt nicked but I had my E30's front passenger window broken about a week and a half ago, the scum put it through and took my radio, he couldnt get in the car though becuase of the dead locks which im guessing is why I have my rear speakers still in. Extremely pointless task that was since the faceplate wasnt even on it.

Told the police and all I got back from them was "it will be filed".

Seems police dont even do anything about crime these days either.

This was the mornings sight.

Please, no more text speak. It doesn't take a lot of effort to construct a proper sentence.

On topic, a friend told me the story of a guy he knows who woke late one night and heard someone breaking into his car. He phoned the police only to be told that they had no one available and that he should not confront the thief. He left it a few minutes at which time the thief had legged it with the contents of his glovebox. He rang the police and told them not to worry about coming now as he'd shot the chap and promptly hung up.

A few minutes later he had an armed response unit and a police helicopter at his house. when the police eventually came to realise there was no threat they asked the chap in an interview "why did you say you shot him?", his reply was "why did you say you had no one available?"

i used to live opposite a pub and a few times all the cars in the street were vandalised after closing time with slashed tyres and keyed paintwork. mine was never touched once ,i reckon it was because the car was well known in the area by all the boy racers and was quite popular amongst them. that was my cosworth converted celica in renault blue pearl ,stripped interior, bucket seats and harnesses etc and gold 18" compo's. that stood out a bit from the norm and the sort of car that would normally attract the dodgy sort. :D

I think someone has tried to break in before, with a rather bad attempt.

Now it's well known, I can assure you it's well protected :)

My iS got vandalised in birmingham when my brother had it- some scrotes pulled both the wiper arms off!

My fiat Uno got jumped on by a load of scallies, and someone tried to break into it in Liverpool, it also lost a mirror to a drunk.

I caught the drunk guy who did the mirror, he paid up after some persuasion......

I chased the scallies in my car down to the end of my Uni campus, then they jumped a wall sadly. -Fortunately the bonnet mostly popped out.

It really really annoys me, mindless vandalism.

I woke up one night and looked out the window to see some c^nt attacking the lock of my 205 gti. Shouting out of the window didn't seem to deter him. Running to the kitchen for the biggest knife I could find....I had 2nd thoughts...don't wan't to get done for murder, so swapped it for a small knife:D...

ran outside but the scum was gone..sometimes I wish I had a rifle...could've taken him out from my room...service to community etc.

not had anyone messing with the e30(afaik), I always use deadlocks though.
