I absolutely love them! Much nicer than any other E30 and E36 for that matter!
If I won the lottery, I would have a glass box built in my garden with a Sport Evo sat right in the middle of it

A lot of donuts posting on the first page.
An m3 at 8k without a carbon airbox sounds mental, with one it sounds unbelievable.
I'd agree with simon, I quite enjoy driving a right hooker in france, so the same would probably apply over here.
They look awesome, they have a properly designed engine, they handle. They are a car people will look twice at, if thats your sort of thing.
Sh!t what am I talking about, my 318is is probably better

While looking for an e30 m3 I went to see 2 up near leeds the guy owned a garage with over 300 import cars from all around the world and I have to say seeing the m3's amongst skyline's scoobys evo's etc The m3 had a stance of its own...dont get me wrong there were some beautiful cars there but it reassured me to why I wanted to spend over 10k on a 20+ year old car.....personally for me it being a left hooker adds to the cars personality adding to the feel of driving somthing diffrent...Its all about taste some people have it and some people clearly dont

I would have one, any day of the week - having driven one, they are just superb cars. Personally i've always loved the boxy type car's...must be something from my youth i guess.

IF this is just a case of astetics then I like ALL the late 80's boxed arch cars, and am gonna do my damndest to own most of them!
If your talking driving, dont even go there unless you've had one by the scruff of it's neck half way up a mountain road! To this day i've never felt so good about driving in my life!
LHD/Dog leg box? pah! any one can do it

I don't think it's a stupid topic, just someone airing their opinion.
For example if someone didn't like my sport then They'd be shot end of. Only joking,
Seriously though, I love M3's I wasn't sure about the box arches at first and much prefer the smooth lines of the sport, but over time I've become to respect the M3 for many reasons.
The other reason I like the 325 is because of it's Smooth straight six engine as opposed to the racy 4 pot. Performance for me isn't an issue it's all about the driving pleasure

Im not a big fan of the square arches, but it had to be done for the car to look right overall and perform well.

IMO I can't think of a better looking car than that!
Although everyone's different.
Driving an M3 is what it's all about

If only i had the moneys and a garage, id build an e30 more ultimate than an m3! I guess it would not strictly be an e30 seeing as bmw didnt make it, but hey ho.

I like the M3 tbh! Its a nice car and I love the M3 genuine styling on it because it looks like a little beast on the road... I dont understand why some one want to make a tread on a E30 FORUM where they tell that they dont like it! When was the last time you saw some one on a Ferrari forum made a tread there some one is telling that he dont like the Testarossa?
For me, the E30 is a supercar I can afford (but dont ask me why I dont have one)
I drove a LHD Citroen XM 2.1 TD in Scotland for 5 months and I had no problem at all, and I drove a RHD E30 in Norway for 1 month with no problem to!

E30zone isn't just about M3s' 78dude.
If that was the case ask people why they come on here if they don't like 4 door 320i auto's..!
It's all about taste ;).

im not the m3's biggest fan. i consider it to be a bit overpriced for what it is but i suppose you have to pay more for an icon. i do like the box arch look. to me the m3 doesnt quite have the bite to match the bark that the aggresive box arch look deserves. i would have liked to cossie convert an m3 to solve that problem but i think that would have got me lynched by baying mobs of angry bmw purists. some deemed it bad enough to lower a more mundane model 325 touring with a ford lump never mind desecrating their top icon.

Sod the purists dude
get the spanners out !
great styling and handling, steering is sublime and the brakes in stock form offer so much feel, but the S14 is a little lacking in the GO department these days and is still V costly to tune for power.
S50,YB,LET, SR20 or anything but the S14 for me,

A mate of mine let me have a drive of a E30 m3 a couple of months ago and it was a totaly diffrent experience to a 325i, much more touque it seemed smoother maybe not a lot quicker but being a left hooker was it a bit weird but you would get used to that just for the style and handling
