For those of you that came for the first time - great to meet you - thanks for coming!
For those of you that came for a second time - thanks for once again getting involved!

Much appreciated.

@ 12345Kevin - nice to see you down there if only to wave at in passing. I'm sure you all had a great time. Looked like a family affair this year. Very brave taking the ladies!

I got back late last night. We stayed just outside L'alle I took my cab down. What an excellent weekend such smooth roads. I too got flashed by a mobile camera in Le Mans doing 100km/h in a 90...harsh on a dual carrigeway. Also got pulled by the local plod and given a 90 euro fine for overtaking, but the copper did say nice car...rare! which surprised me.

One of our group was stopped @150 klicks, he was doing 175kph but knew enough french to sweet talk the fine down from 600E to 60E. :D

Not lucky at all, his French was very good, alot of the French just want to hear your comedy accent and once they have they will calm down.

Sadly alot of Brits are ignorant enough to expect every frog to speak English. The one copper I spoke to in my pidgeon french said in clear english "lets just do this in English, but keep trying" he was massivly impressed I tried and it went a long long way. He also explained to me that all the French want is for you to try. Its just common decency in their country and arrogant to esxpect them to speak english. Not saying you didn't or are.

It doesn't take much to appear a cut above the rest of the ****s who give the 'English Abroad' such a great name. Friday was a great example of why the french police have every reason to make you suffer!

But they do wear very camp hats.

march109, was that your white saloon that very kindly did a committed burnout outside technoparc on friday afternoon? If so, good effort - I was one of the guys keeping the road wet and clearing the way for you...

i ended up doing the trip in a caterham :D but the start at 4:00am in the dark of night and death rain was slightly scary. actually it was danger danger

i will add up some pics later.
i got camp'd near the white rabbit site, really happy.

i think it was my group that made it look like a family affair. they all wanted to come and really enjoyed it! dont know if it was you guys dancing naked on the sunday night (my mates were all naked in our camp) but the girls (being clothed) went ovre to join the naked dancing cause it was funny.

the girls got plenty of attention like. i spent most of my time stopping drunk, testosterone fueled blokes from jizzing on them.

your m3 looked mint in the full body rap

oh and it was my group in the corner who churned up the feild in the caterham, legacy turbo (great 4 wheel donuts  ), mx-5's, nissan 300, punto and primera.

my mates 300 was doing donuts in 5th gear, his diff popped on the way home and it took £££'s and 48 hours to get him from the payage to home.
got back at 2:00am last night - poor bugger.

my mate is a motoring journalist so he had the option of having any car he wanted. Aston V8 was on the cards but then he heard the weather would be good and has always wanted to do it in a caterham.

im just happy he eventually decided to go for a tame one rather than the balls out screenless jobby :)

Didn't take many pics... well only about 1500 anyway. I'll start hosting them when I've sorted out the best 2 or 3 hundred!

I saw it too and thought it was a bbs kit same as Dips has on his 3 door touring.

They did make a 325is for SA and North America, a few other territories got them too iirc. Just not the UK, no such thing as a UK 325is factoid.

Might be an idea to take your wheels off and clean inside them. I took mine off a few months after Le Mans last year and there was lots of mud still inside the rims.

Get a hose and run up under your arches, get your hands/fingers in as well, the mud gets everywhere.

Thanks :D . I'm not professional, just a keen amateur. Done a couple of small commisisons and occasionally shoot some pics at work for use at motor shows and things, but nothing serious.

Make sure you go next year - upcoming rule changes should make for a great race!

Ah, I see. Good work! 8)

I haven't read about the rule changes yet, I'll go and have a look, but it's a fantastic event. I'm planning on going again.

Any petrol-head needs to go to LeMans, it's a must! :)

When we went I visited Houx Annex roundabout for mad friday. It was good but then people started to get agressive so I and the others I was with left when it started to get out of hand.

I think the Classic is the way forward to avoid the chavs who just want to get drunk and who have no interest in the race.
