My first one was '83 & I had it when I was on here... but it's now dead. Still got the chrome goodness, but my current '87 is hardly that early.

I'm restoring a December 1984 Chrome 320i 2 door at the mo - Alpine white, pine green cloth, PAS, bottletops and limited slip diff. It's being painted over the weekend after a week of prep. Once back from the bodyshop it's getting Eibach 30mmn springs, Bilsteins all round plus a whole raft of servicing stuff.

The oldest one however is right hand drive 320i chassis number 1. It was the first right hand drive E30 built, a black 2 door. Not much left of it at all and yes, I own it. :D

The 1984 car - a wings off resto. Botyh front wings were new BMW replacements in 2002 but one got bashed so it's getting a new one.

The first RHD E30 was also the first E30 registered in Scotland although it was built in October 1982.

That's about right. It will never see the road again unless it's a logbook job. One day I might get a good black chromey shell and built it, maybe not. It's dead but not forgotten. :)
