E30 Zone

From searching the forum I believe that the OEM for E30 driveshafts are GKN/Spidan. Can anyone confirm this?

If this is the case does that mean that a GKN one will be the same quality as one from BMW even though its half the price?

Would love to know about this also. Does anyone have real experience with Spidan 23564 half shafts?

I ended up buying the Spidan shaft. It was very similar to the BMW one that it replaced and looked good quality. The fitment was perfect and I've had no issues so far although I've only done a few hundred miles.
