E30 Zone

hi all,

i am checking out a '92 325i convertible with the intent to purchase, but it is in a color that is not listed in the overview of colors on this forum; 668 Schwarz II. BMW spec-overview also states this color as the original color in which it was delivered. Anybody any idea why it's not listed here and very hard to find information on online?

as the car is a late one it 'could' have been specified schwarts 2 as it was used on the e36 and others. If it has a lot of extras/individual spec it could be the customer requested the color or they had stopped using the previous version. here is a few links:

thank you very much, that is very helpful! The car is a Design Edition and does have all kinds of extra's (m suspension, limited slip differential among others) but is also equiped with option code 940 (Special Request Equipment). Could that be the code used for a 'custom' color? I have also been able to find photo's 2 more e30 'verts (both also from '92) with the same color online.

I did end up buying the car yesterday, I would post some pics but I can't seem to figure out how to attach a photo to the post.. Any tips?
