Hi all,

I am in the process of re-doing my 323's underside. I will be using Sika sprayable seam sealer to do the whole underside in beige just like the factory did. My question is, originally when new, did the wheel arches come painted body color or black? My car is silver if it helps. Picture is of a car that is for sale at the moment for illustrative purpose.

I think lighter colours had black under the wheel arch, my 323i is red and had black wheel arches from new.

Have a look at this thread

Curious why the Sika as opposed to the 3M, does it work out much cheaper? Interesting to see how it turns out :thumb:

Good question - I too am in the process of a restoration for my alpine white 325i cab and was wondering what it should be.
