MED Front top mount group buy

Hi guys,

I wanted to invest in a set of these myself so I asked the guy about a group buy.

The mounts themselves are a full mount including bearings, they are on slide adjusters and depending on ride height will give in the region of -3deg camber. As the bearing housing is on a thread they also give fine tuning of ride height.

That's the picture from their site.

Prices come in as a group buy of 10 to 15 pairs: £217.30 per pair delivered.

You know what to do :)

I'm going to let this run for 2/3 weeks and then place my order regardless. There's nothing in this for me except a slightly cheaper set of top mounts, payments will be made directly to MED.

Cheers Jhonno - and to think, I work in IT

Aaron - These are about 30quid less than the advertised eibach price and you get height adjustability too.

Are they supplying base plates to go ontop of the turrets?

Interested if so

Not sure what you mean exactly Jimmy. Afaik it works as a complete replacement for the oem mounts.

You can mount them under the turrets and get a small amount of camber adjustment, or mount them on top of the turrets to get a worthwhile amount of adjustment

They are only any good for me (after 4/5 deg neg) if I can mount them ontop of the turrret

To do so you need a base plate that sits between them and the turret, MED supply mosley and mosley supply these with the base plate. If MED can supply complete with the base plate then i'm interested

Hope thats not too garbled??

Ok. Got an answer from Bill. In short, yes.

Stright from the horse's mouth: "yes med 1228 is supplied with fitting ring with bolts to fit to top mount which sandwich the inner wing."
