I am just wondering if there is any interest in heated front screens for BMW E30's !?
I know there are some available for the E30 M3 (bonded) but am not aware of any for the normal E30.
I have spoken to a company who are willing to make them but require an order of 10.
Anybody keen ? Price will be in the region of £250.

The m3 screen will fit the normal shell, and stiffen it up at ther Same time as it needs bonding in.
I would have thought that would be more up your street

Trouble is with that mate, its not a quick change if it gets cracked. We can change a normal one and be off again in a matter of minutes and actually open the m3 screen apertures to fit a rubber seal for this reason
We are up at walters again in a couple of months with a few e30's to play
Also want to catch up soon to talk m20 porn again :-p

4 remaining !
The price is £290+ vat and includes postage to the mainland UK.
Collection is also available from Nottingham or Newquay (Cornwall) and obviously the price will be cheaper (by 44+vat).
regards,
Will

Might be interested if there's still one available, and my parents have a caravan near Newquay so there's a possibility of collection.
Are they easy to connect up and do they come with required, loom, relay, switch etc?

Clear only from what ive seen Mart
They are not nice to sit behind for a road car IMO, mine annoys me when I use it on the road

I'd just thought about one for the race car (as you know), you're often a bit focused on whats down the road so I would imagine you look through the element and don't notice it perhaps?

Yes that is correct Rich, you are that highly focused on everything else the zig zags in the glass dissapear
In comparison, when driving on the road it gives me a headache

I think you'll be fine on a track car in the day

. I only find them noticeable at night with oncoming traffic or some types of streetlights
