Hi Maz, sorry to sound ignorant, but apart from being slim balast, whats the difference between these and the ones you can get off ebay for £36 posted?

as far as im aware the rretailers only sell 35w and 55w kits. so i don't know where this ebayer is getting their 50w kits from. but thier isn't even a pic of the kit itself so who knows what the quality is like. but tbo it looks like you have picked out the cheapest ebay have to offer. i would advise anyone who is looking to buy a set to research this and get to know what types there are out there and that it fits in the price range. but these kits are compatible with the e30.

its still early days but i have found a set on sinspeed.co.uk. (google sinspeed and enter h1 hid in their search bar) they are £99 but are 35w. i am trying to contact their supplier for the 55w standard ballast kit. these look a better quality aswell. (not found on ebay)

hope this helps :D

I got my set off of Ebay for £34 posted, 55w, full range of light intensitys, and had no problems. As for quality, they seemed very good quality before installing them, and had no problems since. So is it worth the extra £31?

I've fitted that exact kit and so have others, there is a photo of what you actually receive in the ad and it is decent quality. They have made a bit of a cockup by stating 50w when the ballasts and bulbs are both 55w. Delivery was under a week and you get a full years warranty.

I take it you've had approval from the zone team?

Good luck with all this though :D

The link i posted is the company i deal with all the time. I supply and fit hids for loads of customers, and have got their kits fitted in many of my cars, without any issues at all.
Im not sure why it says 50w, as the kits they provide are actually 55w. The quality is spot on and covered for 12 months.

These are compatible with the E30
The only i posted was because i found the kit you have posted to be pricey
