Aussie version of spec E30 race car build

built this a few years ago, built to Australian E30 racing regs

started with a 325E from ebay with an M tech1 kit and zender wheels


bought US spec E30 suspension and installed it




did the odd track day like that, then the real fun started, cage build and ARB reinforcements




then some paint




in the meantime, I sold the M tech kit and wheels for more than the car cost me and started building M20B25 to the rules, while racing with a stock 2.5-

next was some more improvements as I went along
suspension overhaul with ground control double adjustable race setup and new bushes throughout, along with rear camber and toe adjusting kit









last years haul



only way I could think of getting decent cold air intake within the rules (no cutting original material, no removing lights)




having my own wheel aligner is very handy too



heading off for the 5 hour trip to the race track

Brilliant condition. Family heirloom? And no number plates?

Was reminded of a restoration done in 2009 on a similar car. May be couple of years younger that yours. But you should see the before and the after on page 4 of the thread.
