WOW, I think i need a better clutch

Any recommendations for a good clutch?
the paddle clutch i'v got in at the minute is slipping just a little when im hitting the boost HARD.
it's only done it twice,
so i'd rather put one in that's not going to slip at all.
i'm running the M20 flywheel btw

Is that a standard m20 cover with a paddle plate? I would be thinking of using a larger clutch/flywheel combo for a start. What gear box are you running?

Yeah is the Sachs cover with the paddle plate,
the box is from the 328...
It was fine on the dyno run,
At 1.0 bar it was round about 420
1.3 was 460, with 449ft lb
With no slippage whatsoever ever,
But now it's at 1.5 bar
And slightly slipping.

What is the paddle plate? Any pics of it?

It all depends on what you want to spend really. I can help with a custom flywheel/clutch combo if need be or just try an uprated cover and see how it goes. 450 lb ft won't be easy to nail down

I got the 5 paddle "sprung" type from here mate..
http://clutch-specialists.co.uk/
like i say it's been great, but now its on 1.5 bar of boost, i don't think it likes it

I'v sent a few emails to different companys with the specs etc,
so im just waiting to hear back from them, to see if they have anything to sling in....

I'v heard a few horror story's about the sachs indy mate,
well not horror story's, just that they dont last 5 minutes and they dont hold up the warranty,
So I'v been onto a few companys,
o34 say..
I could use the spec stage 3+ that they sell and is rated to 500 ftlb, for $549 + shipping etc
The company I mentioned earlier said i need to run a "twin clutch" just so happens they have one in stock for a measly £600+ vat etc
I'm waiting to hear back from Helix, F1 and a couple of other companys
and i'm also giving thought to the fly and pressure plate offered by penton, I'm looking for prices for an uprated cover to fit to it
and an S50 starter aswell

ah okay, didn't realise they were having issues with the Sachs,I've only read up on a few
£600 doesn't sound bad,is that for the preasure plate and disk

You do not need another pressure plate if you have a 618. I have a 6 paddle clutch and a 618 on a 514lb torque M50B28 and its holding very well.
You do need a better disc however. Don´t get tricked into buying a new plate.

Right,
i'v ordered a clutch and it should be here at the weekend or the beginning of next week,
I'v gone with the full SPEC stage 3+
reason being...
if I had ordered just a new paddle plate, knowing my luck, it'll be the pressure cover that needs replacing
or vice versa
I got a good deal on it which I could not pass up really,
so I thought, why not just change both items at the same time for peace of mind

It is a pretty looking thing
Not looking forward to fitting it tbh,
Don't know if im just going to pull the engine and box, or just lift the front of the engine and pull the box from underneath,
Either way, it's going to be a pain in the arse!

I think It'll be getting done at the workshop on the lift,
Just so happens there's a block and tackle attached to a beam above it,
So might make it a bit easier just to lift the front of the engine and drop the box
