hi guys ive got a 325 and had it for around 5 months now, ive always had n/a cars so my knowledge on turbos and kits are a bit limited, just wanted to ask for a list of items for a turbo conversion on my m20. ive looked online for kits but im not to sure if theres going to be everything there im gunna need.
ive looked at a kit on cxracing and read mixed reviews about them.
http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant.mv ... ode=TRBBMW
if anyone could give me information on this kit or any other kits and what else i would need id really apprecate it as im looking to do the project over the next 2 months
thanks for your time

what ross said ,the kits tend to be loads of cheapo bits thrown together and there is loads of bit you will need that wont be in the kit ,the most expensive bits will be manifold and management ,dont go at it like me and totally underestimate all the bits you need ,you going to need injectors ,headbolts ,intercooler ,loads of pipes to make that fit ,and make sure you get a manifold for a RHD car with the turbo top mount at the front ,unless you have a lhd car then its 1000x easier

well to be honest to do it properly your looking at about 2-3 k to do
it will be a lot more than you expect if you scrimp on cheap stuff it's not going to last everyone all ways says I wanna do it as cheap as possible but in reality that never happens
I done mine over a 2 and ahalf year period just took it off the rd and stripped it but I wanted something fresh looking so I've got quite abit of money in mine but it's what I love to do
don't get me wrong you prob could do it cheap ish if you looked for good quality 2nd hand parts but you can easily spend 2 k on doing it
