I'm currently turboing my car. I need some advice on big brake kits and best wheel sizes

Iv looked at some kits mainly from the states and WMS(keri) who's here on the forum

From the states I've found For the front

http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/E30-bra ... k310w.html

And for the rear

http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/E30-bra ... krear.html

The fronts are 6pots and the rears are 4 pots With 310mm rotors for both sets. The above sets are ideal as I like to use my 16inch alpina wheels. But with a price tag of £1400 plus shipping and duty costs, it's not economical. But if needs be then ill get it

On the other hand keri kit(WMS) is 4pots on the front with 298mm discs and 2 pots on the rear with 290mm discs, both the discs are vented discs and I'll need to run spacers 6mm I'm told for alpinas, the price comes to just above £1100

Will WMS kit be sufficient for my turboed car
Or any other kits people suggest

Also will 16 inch wheels be alright to use

The car in question ( soon to be) is a M30 turbo hope fully running 500-550 bhp . The car will be used for mainly for road use

Thanks sag

Ive done wilwood 4pots and 2part rotors from rally design. Im gonna put wilwood hydro mechanical spot calipers on the rear when i do the back axle. The fronts cost me £1k and the rears are about 300 all in.

Just few questions ross

Where did you get the rotors from? And cost wise?
Are you running spacers?

i bought them off ebay they just came up was abit to good not to get them i think i only paid 50 quid for them
yeah i am 25mm spacers but thats only because of my wheels and that im on coilovers where my wheel would hit the collars on the shocks but its nothing really to do with the brakes

I'm running 4 pot brembo calipers (E38)

and 312mm discs

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290368723148? ... 1423.l2649

^^with the centre bore opened by 1mm

and mine "just" fit under my 16's,
but with the calipers being chunky i'm limited to what wheels will fit.

they do stop well.
