most companies on comparison sites won't cover modifications, Adrian Flux will just about inssure anyone on anything, mods included but it can cost a bit.

I'd second that. I 've a E30 vert with twin turbo's and Sky are by far the cheapest. I now have 2 of my cars with them and in the new year when the insurance on my E36 vert runs out i will transfer it there as well

Might try Sky when it's up for renewal next month though

remember that sky insurance will only cover you in certain conditions, i have protected no claims but since i had a couple of accidents (basically 2 in 5 years) they would not even quote me despite my protected no claims currently at 7 or 8 years, 30 yrs old and its only a 316i M10 2dr.
I can get insurance from a comparison site, full business use including my high mileage for just over £300.00 anyway which is not bad at all.

sky gave me the cheapest quote on my x5 , fully comp... but i had to turn it down as they dont cover you to drive other cars

my 316i, full business use and 17k a year is just over £300.00 which i didn't think was that bad, even for a mainstream insurer on a comparison site.
Not looked too much deaper yet as the car is in storage being worked on getting ready for the MOT and the road (been off the road rotting for the last 5 years, nearly 6 now)

We do provide this cover but like most insurers it is usually reserved for over 25 years olds who do not work in connection with the motortrade.
