You were always going on about buying an M3 for a grand, I assumed this must be it? Surely I can't be wrong, it hasn't happened yet...

The outside I could live with, the interior, only if I was blind !
Who orders serious cars with grey interiors ? :?

Grey interiors are for people who buy out of catalogues and paint every room in their house magnolia.

Outside looks nice.

No I didn't, I mentioned prices were overly inflated, this isn't debateable, a quick scan of pistonheads and the length of time these cars sit for sale tells the true story.

However I did mention a mate bought one for buttons, which he did and many others did during that time.

As for what I paid for it, if that really concerns you, perhaps you need to find a new hobby.

Unfortunately the majority of people that ordered an e36 went for grey, I'm not a fan by any means.

I would change it for black if it wasn't for the dash, in my experience swapping dashes is playing with fire, leaving yourself with a squeaky and rattly car.

I was just larking around, hopefully you got it for your £4500 budget you set yourself?

It would be a good buy if you did, even considering the smg swap. SMG and grey leather, the original owner must have been blind and with a peg leg!

I'd also be loathe to change the dash for the reason you mentioned, but considering the SMG swap has already been done, then it's not exactly unmolested at the moment is it? Fingers crossed it's not a scotch turd, or you will have the complete pack!!!

Well if you consider an smg converted car as molested....

Molested as in not as originally supplied = paedos and correctors not interested. But as it was cheap, who cares ! :)
