E46 318ise 2000,I've changed the bulb but still not working and the dash warning light is lit up,any ideas.

Obvious stuff first - power to the bulb? If not check the fuse up under the glovebox. If not that or wiring, could be the light control module - on these it's a complete unit with the headlight switch.
