Diff ratios ????

Can some one tell me what ratio diff a 99(T reg) 318ti sport compact will be running from factory ?

According to Realoem, 3.38:1 if its manual, 4.44:1 for an auto.

Don't suppose you know what it's worth or weather it's desirable in certain circles ie people who like to drift ?

I think they are the small case diffs (as found on the small engined E30s) so wouldn't of thought it would be worth much, unless its an LSD...
