Does anyone know why alot of these braces are not suitable for a car with ASC ?
I`ve been trying to locate a cheapo but either this comes up or I cant get one for an M44 engine.

A front brace helps with body stiffness and has nothing to do with ASC
try larkspeed or fleabay if you have'nt already

Well thats what I thought , I had a look at the bolt patterns and they look the same, so I am stumped at the moment as to why it should be stated.
The 318is is the same as mine but I cant find a "resonably" priced one for this either.

I assume the asc unit physically blocks the path a lot of strut braces take.

A lot of the cheap braces will be the straight ones which I don't think fit 4pots as the inlet manifold gets in the way.

I also probably wouldn't bother, they don't make much of a difference as the shell is a lot more rigid than the e30s.

If you want to sharpen it up a bit I'd fit a lower x-brace off a cabby, although they don't look pretty when you open the bonnet they really work.
