E30 Zone

Hi,

e36 compact 318Ti M Sport 1999, 167k

Im looking for someone in the Leeds area who can sort out the poor idle I have when the car is hot.
All is great with the car bar this problem .
I`m going away soonish so I could do with this sorting please.

mine does the same, but its very erratic

it will go months without a problem then do random stalling at idle, especially in traffic

theres alot of things it could be like the idle valve, tps etc but mines such a cheapo car i cant really be bothered to fix it

if you are a confident with the spanners strip the intake manifold off and check its clean and clear its also worth checking for vacuum leaks and cleaning the tps out carefully. This did help mine but didnt cure the problem
