e36 m3 evo smg box

right guys ive got a mate thats got a m3 evo and his 6 speed manual box went bang so he managed to source another box but the only differnce was that the box he got was a smg box got it fitted in and everything was ok but the clutch biting is almost on the floor
is there anything that can be done to solve this???
