I have a 96 325tds that I was going to chip. I have received a chip from ebay (should I have 2?) Opened up my ecu to find a 2 board sandwich (chips are on the upper board inside) my first problem is how do I get to the chips so that I can replace them/it?
My second problem is - after not being able to change chip I have put it back together, refitted, but my rev counter now doesnt work and the mileage lights on the clocks are very dim........... So it seems obvious that I have fooked something, but are the ecu's twinned with an ews or could I just swap it out with another??
