Hi

I have a 1991 e30 cabriolet with check upholstery in beige. The driver seat is worn and ripped. I was wondering what would be best method to restore this to original form or as near original. Does anyone have one of these matching seats for sale? I found them hard to find. Any help appreciated. Many thanks.

I bought the bolster material/covers from Brutus a few years back for my son's car, can be a sod to replace as you need to strip the seats and as it was a cab one of the drivers side bolts/nuts was rusted/welded to the frame so I gave it to a mate to release it.

Matching Fabrics isn't fun. However a fabric that matches the closest colour would work. I'm actually working on Similar Uberkaro (Check pattern) material. But my customer was more keen on having bolsters in leather with Uberkaro central area. I'll upload some pictures once done.

If Brutus can't help then this company is very good also:

www.oldtimerseats.com

Generally only deal in E30 seats. Best to Whatsapp the guy.

I used these guys in the past. They have everything but you may have to pull some strings to get them to deliver.
