The old welder that used to have my garage used to pump the suspension up on these and metros up with a egg cup full of anti freeze and the rest water...customers always complained of hard suspension in winter.. :eek:

My headmaster at school had one of these hateful turds in that very same hideous green hue. Even as kids we knew it was gash.

I cannot stand this car, I just imagine it having to floppy ears and a tongue sticking out like a demented Labrador. I had a nightmare once I owned one and was proud of it too!!!! I saw one up the nex classic car show....even with lights and stuff it looked rubbish

Lovely old bus, but it's not an Austin. Built at Cowley (the old Morris plant) it was never marque badged and was just 'Princess'. Manufacturer was Leyland Cars.
