As above really.
There's a guy local to me that buys and sells cars.i just bumped into him after gym and he reckons he has a black one coming with 22k on the clock.
He said if I want it I can have it.
do they have a following like a series one and are they the same spec.
The guy selling it doesn't want that much.
He doesn't like fords he is into old mercs and really old range rovers.
This could be my stepping stone for another e30 :D

Plenty of following - 90 spec is the most sort after S2, but regardless with that mileage it's worth a fair amount, if genuine.

As soon as it arrives I'll take pics and get someone to post them.
If it is what he says I'll have it.

They do not have the same following as series 1s to be honest.

Barry will be along in a minute w4nking himself silly over the thought of a black 22k turbo and what tats he might have if he had one :)

To be honest I'm not holding my breath b7. Last time I found a gem like this in the form of 2, 325i cabs with under 40k on the clock the owner turned out to be a nightmare to deal with considering he offered them to me.i posted them up a few years ago.
This guy is honest and I've known him years.he deals in watches aswell.
I'm just sceptical about it having 22k and being a gem.
Could end up being your usual modified garbage.either way I'll get snaps as soon as it arrives. I have first refusal.

Thing is they go up to 99,999.....and then to 00000.

Mates xr2i was the same..... 22k was really 222k...

Watch out for rust, jacked up plenty and seen them slowly sink into the jack coz of rot!

I remember jacking up my Mk3 Escort, the car didn't move, the floor did though :D

Quite funny though when the battery falls through and breaks your passengers ankles! :D

Ha yeah, mine was some old biscuit tin I riveted in and slopped some red oxide on it :D Matched the faded "Sunburst Red" very well!

Winner! :)

They do have massive following but as said, not as much as the homologation special series one.

If the mileage is genuine with history and the condition good with no modz then that could make a fair chunk of money.

I've got a mates 90 spec red series 2's engine in bits waiting for me to build it up.

Pretty sure nicke30singh just sold a low mileage black series 2.
