At less than 500 miles a year, I'd say most of its life lol

Not sure about that. Carpet / mat wear and seat wear does not compute with a 12.5k miles car to me. Halfords battery????
Probably a very nice car but after owning an 83 900 turbo back in the late 80's? it's not for me I'm afraid.

This has been doing the rounds on and off for a while. A few folk on uksaabs seem to know that there is something fishy about the car.
A breathed on 9000 can be stupidly quick for very little cash.
My 2002 9-5 aero wagon has had about £500 spent on it to go a bit faster which has gained in the region of 50 - 70bhp and a lot of nm in torque (approx 450nm). Epic fun in straight line. Even with an auto box mine has some serious poke from 20mph onwards.
Comfy, a very nice place to sit with HK audio and so far very reliable, outside servicing and tyres we clocked up 30k on ours in 2 years and at 131K it's still running very well. Very very cheap and very very quick cars although utterly boring to look at and handle a bit meh!
