Classic Mercedes...HELP!

Can anyone direct me to a site/person/etc that could assist in finding door rubbers for a 1969 Mercedes 250c?

This belongs to a friend who has kept it in sterling condition, except that the doors are no longer closing correctly. I've tried contacts in the States, but they cannot assist in this matter, too early, too few made.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards, Steve

Ringing most regular MB dealers may prove fruitless or frustrating as the knowledge just isnt there....

MB Jacksons of Poole is the official Mercedes Benz appointed classic parts supplier/dealer for the UK.....

Defintely the first port of call for a 60's Merc...

Low-E30, thanks for the reply, I will try them. The other suggestions listed above I've already tried to no avail.

The issue is I believe according to the owner, only 250 vehicles made, so body spares are very rare.

Regards,
Steve.

There were over 67,000 114 coupes made between '69 and '76 . Whilst a worthy enough turd, they are not particularly sought after or valuable hence not much aftermarket parts back up for coupe specific parts.
I would be surprised if Mercedes cannot supply the parts. The prices might be surprising as well !

I am sure you have access to Google images in Aus, in fact I used it regularly when in Perth last month :)

I entered Mercedes 114 coupe door seals and this was the first pic . Bingo !

Tell the freak to get his wallet out !
