My polak neighbour had two of these and hes sold one and there is this diesel one left. He wants £150 for it, theres no Tax or Test

Its got rotton front wings but starts drives ok. Is it worth a punt to put a ticket on?

From what i can see is its a 5 pot engine? with a 6 speed manual box! sport recaro type cloth seats, air con - which is working! cruise control and leccy windows possible sunroof also




replendent in doom blue a handy motor perhaps? Or are they rubbish and trouble

Thats an A6 isn't it ? I am sure they are a V6 ? You can't go wrong at £150 BUT they love front end links and bits and changing some of the bits that are likely to be f0000ked can be deeply unpleasant Cambelt change = whole front off and lots of swearing and spares . Get it bought !

Thats a early audi A6/100.

It is an Audi 100, that became an A6. I think they break for quite good money.

The seats are good if they are the same as I had in my 100 S4. They have a moveable thigh support, but they arn't really worth much.

Agreed on the front end parts. They are a heavy on suspension bits, I blame the engine hanging over the front of the fooking front axle!

I've never had issues taking the front end off a VAG car.

Doing a Cambelt on one is generally a nice steady job.

i'll give it a better look over! my audi knowledge is bad!

Great turd these Si, it is indeed the 5 pot, they go quite well for what they are, easy to work on too, I cut my teeth on these.
Front end off is easy, it's referred to as the lock carrier if you want to be all official, cambelt is pretty straight forward, pump belt is a bit more tricky as it's against the bulk head, would make a marvellous brick laying chariot

both wings are tasty like this, the bonnet laquer is mainly missing in action and the front tyres are bald

The pattern panels for these are worth a look and dirt cheap.

i spoke to the pole about this, this week. He is of the opinion all its needs for a ticket is 4 new tyres, plus the rust or sharp edges on the wings sorting out. It was MOT'd when he bought it from the auctions

So £150 plus tyres and it should be good to go for a ticket, temping in a way

He is sure everything is working thats fitted inc a/c blowing cold still. Not much history and about 150,000 on the clocks

I was nearly rich a few years ago @ £200 a tonne

i haven't bought it! i was just asking because i might play for a hockey team a bit further from home and the MPG's might come in useful along with the big boot.

Some other poles are supposed to of had it but they've not shown. He wants rid as hes buying my bro in laws motorbike
