I have been told about a car that seems like a really good deal. I can get it for 20k, details below. I have seen the car and it is in good condition beside the kerbing on the alloys. The seller is very trustworthy and the car comes with full service history, 1 owner from new. So any experienced people able to give me any advice on whether 20k seems a good deal, all things being equal...

Sounds like top dealer retail money to me. Assuming a dealer would touch it as big engine petrol saloons are about as desirable as bumhole cancer Diesel estates are where the E class buyers are.

Try punching the details into webuyanycar, that will give you a better idea of its value. The seller might get a shock !

I am surprised as it is 1 owner, full service history and only 18500 miles on the clock... Others are advertised for up to 22k on various different sites with more than double the mileage...

Thanks for the advise though, I was thinking their might be value in it but sounds like perhaps not... At least I can give the old boy who is selling it the heads up as well...
