A bruiser from our local has one in Met paint and its mint, looks ace parked outside the pub. :cool:

There isnt much more council than an E39 V8, although I have an upmarket Touring/Wagon version to carry my scrap around in :D

there's a guy up the road, probably in his 70s who has one of those rover SD1's with huge striaght through exhausts (sounds good to be fair) quite a sight though, of him and his also elderly wife going up the road in it, all i can think is he must have had it since new :)

My old man had a series 1 sd V8 when i was growing up - in fact it was the car i was brought home in after being born :) he is adamant he wants a vitesse now..

Haha maybe, although it was yellow!!
I must have become attached to it from spending my early years under it with him - i'd picked up on the word "pinking" being a bad thing - so a ~ 6 year old me told the man that came to buy it that it pinked!! Unfortunately, it turned out the car that pinked was my mum's MG Metro!!
